i definitely think Hodgson has talent, but can't honestly put him in the top 15 in the league at the center position... nice write up though |

You think Cody Hodgson is one of the top 15 centers in the NHL? Here's 21 players that are all better than Hodgson, not to take anything away from him, I like the kid. But he's in no way shape or form better than these 21 guys, unless you're simply looking at his points from the lockout year last year, which would be stupid.

Before this gets to be a blog full of lists of centers better than Hodgson lets just agree he and Peitrangelo shouldn't share the same blog. Kadri and Hodgson are more comparable and will get comparable money. Hodgson should continue to develope into a very good 2nd center IMO. Peitrangelo is top 10 at his position |

I stopped where you said that Hodgson is one of the top 15 centers in the NHL. I got there and could go no further. |

The jury's still out on that one. They're both good centers but I'm not sure if you can definitively say one is better than the other right now. Personally, if I was building a team for one season, I'd take Hodgson at this point. |

Just got my pay lafontaine jersey from aliexpress.com..
It's real... And it's spectacular!
Best $28 I've ever spent. Even says made in Canada on the tag, and it's official and the couloirs are correct. K |

Back to my argument about Pysyk(sorry haven't been here much to defend myself).
I called him and a few others in the system scrubs. A scrub to me is someone no one outside of Buffalo has really heard of and isn't a proven commodity. Basically, if there was a game tomorrow, the opposition doesn't think of him as a threat. In fact, less than a threat, barely a factor.
Pysyk played 19 games and was a minus 7. And that's at the end of the season where the team mostly looked better. But for some reason where ready to assume he's a stud. My knock wasn't on Mark Pysyk my knock was on Sabres fans. We're just as bad as Darcy.
And that's you to NF. Calling me out over a guy who played 19 games and was a minus 7. Seriously? |

Then you've got a really bad definition of "scrub". Scrub is usually referred to an AHL lifer with no future in the league. That is definitely not Pysyk. As for the whole "proven commodity thing" fans are basing their opinion of pysyk based on his body of work in the CHL/AHL, not the 15 or so games he played up here last year. He's still very young and has plenty of time to develop into a solid hockey player.
Edit: nobody is calling him the next bobby orr, but at the same time his talent level suggests that calling him a scrub is wrong. |
